Diwali (Early November): Gold as Blessing
Buying gold at Diwali isn’t shopping — it’s auspicious. For the UAE’s large Indian community, Dhanteras (two days before Diwali) is traditionally the year’s biggest gold-buying day. Modern Diwali gifting has shifted from coins and heavy sets toward fine wearable pieces: diamond studs, slim bangles, initial pendants — gold that blesses and gets worn.
