The Length Map

35–40cm (choker) — sits at the base of the neck. Modern, fashion-forward, best on longer necks and open collars.

40–42cm (collar) — the layering workhorse; sits at the collarbone. The right length for small pendants worn high.

45cm (princess) — the universal default and our most-ordered length; drops just below the collarbone. If you’re buying blind for a gift, choose this.

50–60cm (matinee) — reaches the chest; suits larger pendants, necklines, and layering as the bottom chain.
Match the Chain to the Pendant
A chain’s job is to carry the pendant — visually and physically. Fine cable and box chains disappear behind small pendants like an evil eye or initial, keeping focus on the motif. Paperclip and curb chains are jewellery in their own right: wear them solo or with substantial pendants like the UAE map. Weight matters too — a heavy pendant on a whisper-thin chain will kink and wear; made-to-order production lets us pair each pendant with the correct gauge.
Layering Maths
The secret to effortless layering is a 5–8cm gap between chains: for example 40cm + 45cm + 52cm. Closer than that and chains tangle; wider and the look disconnects.
